Bennett Valley Wedding Photography – Claire and Jordan at Private Estate

THEME OR STYLE: We knew long before we got engaged that if we got married it would be in Jordan’s (groom) family vineyard. It is a special place for us and our families. We wanted the wedding to therefore have a “wine country” feel that was elegant but still casual. The amazing setting helped dictate the ultimate theme. We decided early on that our biggest priorities were food/wine and live music and so we picked those first and the style evolved from there.

THE HONEYMOON: Yucatan peninsula, Mexico

A MEMORABLE MOMENT: Taking a moment alone immediately after the ceremony to toast, nibble, and look down in the vineyard at all of our amazing family and friends who came to support us that day.

FAVORITE IMAGE: We loved them all, but the two of us laughing on our decked out John Deere getaway-gator definitely captured the joy of the day.

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES: Make a list early on of your respective priorities, so that you know what is most important to both of you. This was helpful in sticking to a budget and spending more on the important pieces and letting some other “less important” elements go.   As soon as the weekend festivities begin, just start enjoying it all as soon as you can. All the prep leads up to this weekend, so don’t spend it fretting! Soak it all in, take the time to appreciate all the amazing moments, and hold each other close!
