From the bride:

“There were so many memorable moments of our wedding: Having that special moment to see each other before the ceremony was very special and calming. I also loved how my 80 year old grandmother was on the dance floor all night. Overall, we wanted to create a day with our guests in mind. We found much happiness in their sheer enjoyment and indulgence of the senses at the beautiful venue. We will revel forever in enjoyment that our wedding pulled off so beautifully, not to mention the rockin’ party!”

I’m gonna let it shine.

Sometimes, I need to step away from the screen and nurture my creative.   I have this image in my head I want to make, and this image is ALMOST it.    When it’s not raining, and the tide is a bit lower, you’ll see me redo this image.   By the way, no part of it has seen photoshop.

From the bride:

“My love story with Drew has been a dream since day one, and as such I wanted our wedding to feel the same.  I hoped our guests would feel as if they had fallen into an enchanted fairytale void of time and place, as that is how being in love with Drew has felt for me.

As an interior designer and fine artist, I found the wedding planning process to be the ultimate culmination of all forms of art and design.  I took every opportunity to inject the theme of our wedding into the little details and had a blast researching, art making, and dreaming about my day.

Although, like any bride, I was concerned with the look of my wedding, what I learned is that an event is only as successful as the people you Employ.  Each of my vendors was a dream to work with and all became an integral part of my wedding day “behind the scenes family”.  Luke Snyder, Darlene Forbes, Tony Sparks and Elaine Belle worked together seamlessly to ensure the comfort and happiness of each of my guests.  I spent my day blissfully unaware of the inner workings of my event and free to enjoy the culmination of a year and a half of planning.

At the end of the day I ended up married to the man of my dreams and surrounded by every person I loved–what more could a girl ask for?”

I give great thanks to Morgan Bellinger of Move Photography for contributing to the photography  and this post.”
